Diamond Pattern Zentangle

Diamond Pattern Zentangle

This is a simple Zentangle with diamond pattern. Special pattern drawn for 'Janmashami'. Janmashtami is a Hindu festival to celebrate 'Lord Krishna's' birth, the eighth Avatar of Lord Vishnu. I have drawn 'Krishnar Padam' which is the foot print of Lord Krishna. Which is drawn with wet rice flour in South India specialy in 'Tamilnadu' to welcome Lord Krishna.
I have used 005 Micron pen and Red sketch pen to drawn this particular Diamond pattern Zentangle.

Mandala ( Diya / Lamp Shaped)

Mandala ( Diya / Deepam / Lamp Shaped)
Namaste Everyone!
Today I am sharing a lamp/diya/deepam shaped  mandala. In India it is auspicious to light diyas / lamps for any occasion or festivals. This is Karthikai Month (mid November - mid  December) where in evenings we light diya and worship 'Gods and Goddesses'.

I am sharing a lamp/diya shaped mandala which is semi circle in shape (one half). I have used simple repetitive designs in my mandala with a golden touch to show the brightess of lamp.
I hope you all like it!

Simple Mandala

Simple Mandala
Mandala in Sanskrit means 'Circle'. Today I am sharing a 'Simple Mandala' or 'Lotus Mandala' which is drawn with 7-4 dots. In the centre we have a dot.

Dots are connected to form a star shape. We can use either open or closed lotus in mandalas which is also called as Lotus Mandalas. I have used open lotus to draw my simple mandala....as I always love to share lotus motif / design in my work.... (specifically in rangoli, kolam or muggulu, zentangle or mandala).
Thank you!

Mandala

Mandala
In Sanskrit, 'Mandala' means Circle. Circle which represents 'Wholeness'. There are different types of mandalas such as:
Geometric Mandalas, Ceiling Mandalas, Simple Mandalas, Elements Mandalas, and many more...

I am sharing a very simple mandala, which has a center point, from which we continue to work or expand our creativity with curves, lines, flower or lotus motif.
I love lotus motif, whether it is a kolam, rangoli, zentangle and now mandala.
I am sharing pictures to draw mandala:
